Damon Lindelof’s take on the WGA strike
Saturday, November 10th, 2007Damon Lindelof, and Marc Cherry, creater of Desparate Housewives, join the picketers on the ABC/Dinsey lot earlier this week. They make their point in a simple way, eventually the internet will be our main source for television viewing. Do writers make any money from the internet, their broadcasters websites, or all that wonderful advertising placed on those websites? Nope.
See what they have to say:
To stay up to date with the WGA’s strike, and who is supporting them (people from Scrubs, Desparate Housewives, Heroes, Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, as well as Drew Carey, Joss Whedon, Jesse Jackson…. I could go on and on with supporters), and to sign the petition, bookmark this blog called United Hollywood. WGA is also video blogging on You Tube, so be sure to check that out as well.
