Well, right now, the program is on hiatus. But production has begun for the remaining five episodes of Lost so the stars are keeping busy with that. We’ll try to keep abreast of the show’s development so expect some updates and spoilers in the days ahead. But right now, let’s catch up on what the stars are doing outside of the show…
MATTHEW FOX
Vantage Point did okay at the box office. I haven’t seen it yet…I’m about to in a couple of days so I’m a bit eager for it. Up next for Matthew is Speed Racer, the live action adaptation of the Japanese cartoons, where he plays Racer X, the rival. If you haven’t seen the trailer, check it out here.
EVANGELINE LILLY
She will star in Afterwards, a film derived from a French book. It has a France movie release date slated for October. and there is no word of a US release date. The plot synopsis below c/o IMDb:
Nathan Del Amico, a brilliant New York lawyer who leads a life of professional success, but his private life is pretty dismal since he divorced Mallory, his only love. Until he meets Garrett Goodrich, a mysterious doctor who introduces himself as a “messenger.” He claims that he can sense when certain people are about to die, and that he is sent to help them put their life in order before it’s too late. Nathan doesn’t believe a word of this, but soon afterwards he witnesses some disconcerting scenes which seem to confirm the doctor’s claims.
NAVEEN ANDREWS
He will be seen in the movie, Animals, which is classified as a horror flick and is slated for release this year. Naveen’s character seems to be possessed with other qualities. The trailer is up at the official site.
HENRY IAN CUSICK
Henry will star in the movie version of Bryan Fuller’s canceled TV series, Dead Like Me. He’s taking over the role of Mandy Patinkin, as the head reaper, Cameron Kane. I actually like Dead Like Me and didn’t know Henry Ian would be in it till today! So, color me excited for this one! Movie trailer here.
MICHAEL EMERSON
He’s doing comedy for once and without even watching it yet, I’m sure he’ll translate on screen just fine. The movie is called, Ready? OK! and it’s for festival submissions only…IMDB has listed this as its synopsis:
In this poignant comedy, a single Mom struggles to understand her young son’s obsession with dresses, dolls and girls’ cheer-leading. With the recent death of her absent father, her wayward brother returns home, compelling them all to face themselves and what it truly means to be a “family”
