lost-season-5-poster

MAN: Hello, Benjamin.
YOUNG BEN: What happened?
MAN: You were injured.
YOUNG BEN: How?
MAN: You don’t remember?
YOUNG BEN: Where am I?
MAN: You’re among friends. We’re going to take care of you.
YOUNG BEN: My dad–is he here?
MAN: You’ll be back to him soon enough.
YOUNG BEN: No. No, I don’t want to go back.
MAN: Okay, easy. Easy.
YOUNG BEN: Oh! I don’t want to go back. I wanna stay. I wanna be one of you.
MAN: Just because you’re living with them doesn’t mean you can’t be one of us. You should be dead, Benjamin. But this Island… it saved your life.
YOUNG BEN: Who are you?
MAN: I’m Charles. Charles Widmore.

lost 3

KATE: So you’re telling me that you’ve been here, living with the DHARMA Initiative for the past three years.
SAWYER: That’s right. How long’s it been for you since the chopper?
KATE: Three years.
MILES: [Over radio] [Static] Hey, Jin, this is Miles. Where are you? Over. [Static]
JIN: If I don’t report in soon, they’ll send out a patrol. What should we do with them?
HURLEY: [To Jin] Dude, your English is awesome.
SAWYER: What we do is we bring ‘em in.
JACK: Bring us in where?
SAWYER: Back to the Barracks at DHARMAville. You can’t be wandering around in the jungle with the Hostiles.
KATE: “The Hostiles”?
SAWYER: The Others.
HURLEY: What about everyone else from the plane? They could still be out there.
SAWYER: What do you mean, everyone else?
HURLEY: We didn’t come back alone. Sayid was on the plane, too. Lapidus… and Sun.
SAWYER: Jin! Hold up! Where you goin’?!
JIN: The Flame. If a plane landed on the Island, Radzinsky will know. [Engine starts]
SAWYER: Hold on! We gotta think about this! [Shift gears]
SAWYER: All right. That’s it. Listen, you guys gotta stay put. Don’t go nowhere, don’t do nothing till I can figure out how the hell to explain where you came from.

JULIET: Hey.
SAWYER: You seen my baggy sweatshirt, the one with the bulldog on it?
JULIET: It’s in the laundry. James… what’s going on?
SAWYER: They’re back.
JULIET: I’m sorry. Who’s back?
SAWYER: Jack, Hurley, Kate.
JULIET: What?
SAWYER: I know. They came back, Juliet.
JULIET: Are they here now?
SAWYER: They’re out at the North Point, waitin’ for me to tell ‘em what to do.
JULIET: [Whispers] How did they get…
SAWYER: I’m not sure. They said they were on a plane. [Drops bag]
SAWYER: [Sighs] I don’t understand it any more than you do. But they’re here, and I gotta find a way to bring ‘em in before somebody else finds ‘em and they screw up everything we got here.
JULIET: There’s, um, a sub coming in this afternoon.

SAWYER: All right, listen. Y’all are gonna be the second batch of recruits comin’ in off the sub pullin’ into port right about now, so we ain’t got much time.
SAWYER: Nice suit, doc. Not exactly Island wear. Try this.
JACK: You want us to say we came in on the sub. How’s that gonna work?
SAWYER: Everyone gets knocked out before the trip, so no one meets each other until we process ‘em. If there was a plane, Jin will find it. So we got about ten minutes to make intake, or y’all are gonna be camping in the jungle for a long time. There ain’t another batch of recruits due in for six months.
JACK: What do you think?
KATE: I think we should listen to Sawyer.
HURLEY: I vote for not camping.
SAWYER: Trust me. Do what I say. Everything will be fine. Let’s move.

HURLEY: Okay, so it’s 1977.
SAWYER: Yep.
HURLEY: And… you guys are all members of the DHARMA Initiative.
SAWYER: Yep.
HURLEY: Well, you do realize those dudes get wiped out, right? I saw where all the bodies got dumped.
SAWYER: What about it?
HURLEY: Well, aren’t you gonna warn ‘em? Aren’t you gonna stop it from happening?
SAWYER: I ain’t here to play Nostradamus to these people. Besides, Faraday’s got some interesting theories on what we can and can’t do here. JACK: Did you say Faraday? He’s here?
SAWYER: Not anymore.

LAPIDUS: Sun. I want you to think about this, okay? This guy is dangerous. Sun, that boat I came here on–it was filled with commandos whose only mission was to get him.
BEN: And how’d that work out for everyone?
LAPIDUS: Don’t do it.
SUN: Why don’t you come with us?
LAPIDUS: I can’t. I got a group of people I gotta look after.
BEN: That’s right, Frank. A captain’s first responsibility is to his passengers. But I have people I have to take care of, too. There’s a small dock about a half mile due south across the water. It leads directly to a town where I used to live. There are resources there. So, if anyone can help you and the rest of the plane get out of here safely, it–[Sun hits Ben, knocks him out]
LAPIDUS: I thought you trusted this guy.
SUN: I lied.

JACK: Here we go.
PHIL: Hey, Jack. Have a seat.
DR. CHANG: Of course it isn’t here… [Sighs]
JACK: What’s that?
DR. CHANG: Your file. Could they be any more disorganized on the other side? Sorry. Namaste. I’m Pierre Chang. Welcome to the DHARMA Initiative. How was your ride in?
JACK: It was fine.
DR. CHANG: Good. Who was your shuttle driver?
JACK: I’m sorry?
DR. CHANG: Uh… the shuttle from the sub. Who was your driver?
JACK: Oh, that was, uh… um… Mr. LaFleur.
DR. CHANG: Ah, yes. Good man, LaFleur. Runs a very tight operation. [Sets down clipboard] [Sighs] I’m sorry for the disorganization. The woman who was supposed to be processing you in had a baby last night. I got pulled out of my lab. I… ah, here it is… your job assignment. [Sighs] You’ve been assigned to the Shed.
JACK: “Work man.” What does–what does that mean?
DR. CHANG: Based on your aptitude test, you’ll be doing janitorial work. [Jack chuckles]

PHIL: Hey there, ma’am.
KATE: Hi.
PHIL: They haven’t called you yet?
KATE: No. Not yet.
PHIL: What’s your name?
KATE: Kate… Austen.
PHIL: Austen. [Flips pages] Austen… Huh. You’re not on my list, and you’re not on the sub manifest either. Who’s your recruiter?
KATE: Um…
JULIET: Hold on, Phil. [Sighs] I just got the new list from Amy. Some, uh, last-minute additions, including… Miss Austen?
PHIL: All righty then. She’s all yours. [Phil leaves the two of them.]
JULIET: I’m sorry for the mix-up. I’m Juliet.
KATE: Kate.
JULIET: Hi, Kate. Welcome to the Island.

BOY: Hey, Phil. I’m just gonna go in there and deliver him a sandwich.
PHIL: All right….

BOY: Hello. I brought you a sandwich. I didn’t put mustard on it, but if you’d like some, I could get some.
SAYID: This will be fine. Thank you.
BOY: Are you a Hostile?
SAYID: Do you think I am?
BOY: What’s your name?
SAYID: Sayid. What’s yours?
BOY: I’m Ben.
SAYID: It’s nice to meet you, Ben.

HORACE: How’s your head?
SAWYER: It hurts. Where are my people?
HORACE: They’re fine. Amy told me what happened in the jungle, and I really appreciate what you did.
SAWYER: Well, y’all got a funny way of showing your appreciation.
HORACE: Look, we have certain defense protocols. There are hostile indigenous people on this island, and we don’t get along with them. So… why don’t you tell me who the hell you are?
SAWYER: My name’s James LaFleur. You can call me Jim.
HORACE: How’d you get to the island, Jim?
SAWYER: If my friends are safe, why are you asking me all the questions?
HORACE: They told me I need to talk to you, that you’re the boat captain.
SAWYER: We got caught in a storm. Our ship wrecked. Must’ve hit the reef. Thankfully, we washed up on shore.
HORACE: What kind of ship?
SAWYER: A salvage vessel. Searching for a famous lost wreck. It’s an old slaver out of Portsmouth, England, called the Black Rock. You heard of her?
HORACE: Can’t say that I have.
HORACE: So… once you got washed ashore, why were you then wandering around in the jungle?
SAWYER: Some of our crew were missin’. We were looking for ‘em. That’s when we came upon your girl instead.
HORACE: Hmm. Well… I tell you what, Jim. If your crew shows up, we’ll send ‘em along with ya.
SAWYER: Send ‘em where?
HORACE: There’s a submarine that leaves this island first thing in the morning. You and your friends, you’re gonna get on it. It’s gonna drop you off in Tahiti. You can find your way home from there.
SAWYER: Hold on a minute, chief. We just saved that woman’s life. Doesn’t that earn us a week or two to find the rest of our people?
HORACE: Nope. Only people that are allowed to stay on this compound are members of the DHARMA Initiative. And look, I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, please, Jim, but you are not DHARMA material.

Lost Quotes from The Life and Death Of Jeremy Bentham

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

lost 2 MAN: John? John, wake up.
LOCKE: Mm.
MAN: You had a compound fracture. The doctors here did their best, but I had a specialist flown in to reset your leg properly.
WIDMORE: It’s nice to see you again, John.
LOCKE: Do I know you?
WIDMORE:  Yes. I understand your being confused. Imagine how I feel. I met you when I was 17. And now all these years later, here we are. You look exactly the same.
LOCKE: Who are you?
WIDMORE: My name is Charles Widmore. Tell me, John. How long has it been for you since… we first met, since you walked into our camp and you spoke to Richard?
LOCKE: Four days.
WIDMORE: That’s incredible.

WIDMORE: Because there’s a war coming, John. And if you’re not back on the Island when that happens, the wrong side is going to win.

LOCKE: “Jeremy Bentham”?
WIDMORE: He was a British philosopher. Your parents had a sense of humor when they named you, so why can’t I? This should be money enough for now. The phone’s international. If you need to reach me, for anything, just press 2-3. The folder contains your people’s whereabouts, everyone that was on the Island that left.
LOCKE: You’ve been watching them?
WIDMORE: I’m deeply invested in the future of the Island, John. So, yes, I’ve been watching them. I wouldn’t mention I’m involved in this. I can’t imagine what they think of me, having listened to Benjamin’s lies.
LOCKE: How do I know that you’re not the one who’s lying?
WIDMORE: I haven’t tried to kill you. Would you say the same for him?

LOCKE: You asked if there was someone you could look up for me.
ABADDON: Yes, I did.
LOCKE: Her name is Helen–Helen Norwood–and she was living in Los Angeles.
ABADDON: She an old girlfriend of yours?

ABADDON: John… you’re not really gonna pretend you don’t remember that I was an orderly in the hospital right after your accident? That I was the one who told you to go on your walkabout? The same walkabout that put you on the plane that crashed on that Island?
LOCKE: No. I remember.
ABADDON: I help people get to where they need to get to, John. That’s what I do for Mr. Widmore.

KATE: Have you ever been in love, John?
LOCKE: What?
KATE: I think about you sometimes. I think about how desperate you were to stay on that Island. And then I realized… it was all because you didn’t love anybody.
LOCKE: That’s not true. I loved someone… once. Her name was Helen.
KATE: What happened?
LOCKE: Well… it–it… it just didn’t work out.
KATE: Why not, John?
LOCKE: I was angry. I was… ob-obsessed.
KATE: And look how far you’ve come.

LOCKE: What happened to her?
ABADDON: She died of a brain aneurysm. I’m very sorry, Mr. Locke.
LOCKE: She loved me. If I had just… we could’ve been together.
ABADDON: Maybe you could have. That wouldn’t change anything. She’d still be gone.
LOCKE: Would she?
ABADDON: Helen is where she’s supposed to be. As sad as it is, her path led here. And your path, no matter what you did or what you do, your path leads back to the Island.
LOCKE: You say that like it’s all det–inevitable.
ABADDON: Mr. Widmore told me Richard Alpert said that you were going to die. So you tell me, John. Is that inevitable, or is it a choice?
LOCKE: What, you think I wanna die? How is that… how could you possibly think that’s a choice?
ABADDON: Hey… I’m just your driver.

Lost Quotes from 316

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

lost 2 ELOISE: Aha. Here we go.All right. I apologize if this is confusing, but…let’s pay attention, yes? The room we’re standing in was constructed years ago over a unique pocket of electromagnetic energy. That energy connects to similar pockets all over the world. The people who built this room, however, were only interested in one.
SUN: The Island.
ELOISE: Yes. The island. They’d gathered proof that it existed. They knew it was out there somewhere, but they just couldn’t find it. Then a very clever fellow built this pendulum on the theoretical notion that they should stop looking for where the island was supposed to be and start looking for where it was going to be.

ELOISE: I’m sorry to have to tell you this, Desmond, but the Island isn’t done with you yet.
DESMOND: This woman cost me four years of my life–four years that I’ll never get back because you told me that I was supposed to go to the Island! That it was my bloody purpose! You listen to me, brother, and you listen carefully. These people–they’re just usin’ us. They’re playing some kind of game, and we are just the pieces. Whatever she tells you to do… ignore it. You say the Island’s not done with me? Well, I’m done with the Island.

ELOISE: Jack… the binder in your hands shows all the air routes that fly over the coordinates where I believe the Island will be in little more than a day from now. There’s a commercial airliner flying from L.A. to Guam. It’s going to go right through our window. Ajira Airways, Flight 316. If you have any hope of the Island bringing you back, it must be that plane. You all need to be on it. It must be that flight.  If you… want to return, you need to recreate as best you can the circumstances that brought you there in the first place. That means as many of the same people as you are able to bring with you.

JACK: My father… is gone. My father has been dead for three years. You want me to……and to give it to Locke?! He’s in a coffin! This is ridiculous.
ELOISE: Oh, stop thinking how ridiculous it is and start asking yourself whether or not you believe it’s going to work. That’s why it’s called a leap of faith, Jack.

BEN: Thomas the Apostle. When Jesus wanted to return to Judea, knowing that he would probably be murdered there, Thomas said to the others, “Let us also go, that we might die with him.” But Thomas was not remembered for this bravery. His claim to fame came later… when he refused to acknowledge the resurrection. He just couldn’t wrap his mind around it. The story goes… that he needed to touch Jesus’ wounds to be convinced.
JACK: So was he?
BEN: Of course he was. We’re all convinced sooner or later, Jack.
JACK: Where are you going?
BEN: Oh, I made a promise to an old friend of mine–just a loose end that needs tying up. See you at the airport, Jack.

LAPIDUS: Well, hello, Doc. Small world. What are you doing going to Guam?
JACK: What are you doing here, Frank?
LAPIDUS: Well, I picked this gig up about eight months ago. I fly this route all the time. Sometimes I take the big birds into New… Delhi. Is… that Sayid? And Hurley. Wait a second. We’re not going to Guam, are we?

JACK: They found this stuffed in his pocket. And I’ve been trying to get rid of it, but it’s like it’s… following me. I know it sounds crazy, but… it feels like John needs me to read it.
BEN: Why don’t you then? Is it because you’re afraid?
JACK: Afraid of what?
BEN: Afraid that he blames you, that it’s your fault he killed himself.
JACK: Was it my fault?
BEN: No, Jack, it wasn’t your fault.

Lost Quotes From This Place Is Death

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

lost 4 MILES: [To Daniel] Where’d that guy come from? I thought he was on the boat.
DANIEL: [To Miles] The blast must’ve thrown him in the water. He’s been moving with every flash, just like us.
SAWYER: [Explaining to Jin] Every time the sky lights up, we…move through time.
JIN: [Speaking Korean at Sawyer, frustratedly. Then, in English, to Charlotte] Translate. Please, translate.
SAWYER: [To Miles] You heard the man, translate.
MILES: Uh, he’s Korean. I’m from Encino.
JIN: [Speaking Korean to Charlotte]
CHARLOTTE: [To Locke] He wants to know how you’re sure his wife is off the island.
SAWYER: You speak Korean, Red?
MILES: Obviously.
LOCKE: Tell him I’m sure. But none of it will matter if we don’t make it to the Orchid.
CHARLOTTE: [Speaking Korean to Jin] [Subtitle: He’s sure. And he says we have to get to a station called the Orchid.]
JIN: [Speaking Korean] [Subtitle: What’s the ‘Orchid’?]
CHARLOTTE: [Speaking Korean] [Subtitle: A way off the island. Locke’s planning to leave here and bring back all of your friends. Including your wife. He thinks it’s the only way to stop the flashes.]
JIN: [To Locke] Bring Sun back? Why you bring her back?
LOCKE: Because she never should’ve left.

Lost: Little Prince Quotes

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

lost 4 KATE: What are we gonna do about him? About Aaron.
JACK: I don’t know.
KATE: I’ve been thinking a lot about him. Did you know that Claire was flying to L.A. to give him up for adoption?
JACK: No. No, I didn’t.
KATE: I think we should say he’s mine.
JACK: What?
KATE: We could say that I was six months pregnant when I was arrested and that I gave birth to him on the Island. No one would ever know.
JACK: Kate, no. You don’t have to.. There’s other ways to this.
KATE: After everyone we’ve lost–Michael, Jin, Sawyer… I can’t lose him, too.
JACK: Sawyer’s not dead.
KATE: No. But he’s gone. Good night, Jack.
JACK: Kate… If we’re gonna be safe, if we’re gonna protect the people that we left behind, tomorrow morning, I’m gonna have to convince everyone to lie. If it’s just me, they’re never gonna go for it. So I’m gonna turn to you first. Are you with me?
KATE: I have always been with you.

Lost: Jughead Quotes

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

800px-5x03 DESMOND: It’s called Great Britain. And the most beautiful part of the island is Scotland, and that’s where your daddy’s from. There’s mountains and glens and monsters in deep lochs, and… and it’s where your mummy and daddy… fell in love.
PENNY: It’s also where he broke her heart.
DESMOND: Yeah, well, I… I thought I’d leave that wee bit out of it.
PENNY: You also left out the bit about his grandfather–the man who sent a boat to the Island to kill all Daddy’s friends.
DESMOND: We’ll be in and out. He’ll never know we’re here, Penny.
PENNY: Don’t underestimate him, Desmond. If he finds out we’re here, I don’t know what he’ll do.
DESMOND: But this has nothing to do with your father, Penny. We are here because of Daniel Faraday. What he told me–that everyone on that island is in danger, and I am the only one that can help them. I have to do this, Penny.

Lost: The Lie Quotes

the lie on the boat

JACK: Sorry you got dragged into this, but we need to know that you’re with us.
FRANK: Whatever you guys decide, I’ll just roll with.
JACK: Hurley, what about you?
HURLEY: I don’t think we should lie dude.
JACK: We need to protect the people that we left behind Hurley.
HURLEY: How does lying protect them?
JACK: It protects them from Charles Widmore. The guy hired a boatload of people to kill all of us, he faked a plane crash. I mean, you think telling him the truth, he’s just gonna, he’s gonna leave them alone?
HURLEY: Look, he’s your dad, right? Can’t you just, like, call him off?
PENNY: There’s no calling my father off.
HURLEY: But, he’ll never find them. I mean, the island disappeared. We all saw it. It’s gone.
JACK: You think anyone’s going to believe that? Believe any of it? They’re gonna think you’re crazy.
HURLEY: Not unless someone backs me up. Sayid, come on. They’ll think I’m nuts if I tell the truth, but what if we all do? I mean, if we can stick together, we can make them believe us. I don’t wanna spend the rest of my life lying. Do you?
SAYID: No. But, I don’t believe we have a better choice. I’m sorry Hurley, but we have to lie.
HURLEY: You know what dude? I’m gonna remember this. Then someday, you’re gonna need my help, and I’m telling you right now, you’re not getting it.

Lost: Because You Left Quotes

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

BEN: Why don’t you close that up now, Jack? Come on. Let’s get him in the van. It’s out back.
JACK: Where are we taking him?
BEN: We’ll worry about that once we pick up Hugo.
JACK: (Sighs) Hurley… is locked away in a mental institution.
BEN: Which should make recruiting him considerably easier than the rest of your friends.
JACK: They’re not my friends anymore.
BEN: Oh, that’s the spirit.
JACK: How did we get here? How did all this happen?
BEN: It happened because you left, Jack. Now let’s get started, shall we?

SAWYER: Now talk.
FARADAY: The Island… think of the Island like a record spinning on a turntable, only now, that record is skipping. Whatever Ben Linus did down at the Orchid station I think… it may have… dislodged us.
MILES: Dislodged us from what?
FARADAY: Time.
JULIET: So that’s why our camp is gone? Because the Island is moving through time?
FARADAY: Yeah, either the Island is, or we are.
SAWYER: What?
FARADAY And it’s just as likely that we’re moving, your people and us. And everyone in your group–you’re all accounted for, right?
SAWYER: Not everyone. Locke.

WIDMORE: They only do what I tell them to do.
SUN: You. You had me brought in here? Why?
WIDMORE: You had the audacity to approach me in broad daylight in front of my business associates in public. Why did I have you brought here? Because you showed me no respect. I will be respected, Sun.
SUN: Fair enough.
WIDMORE: Since you seem to be worried about your plane, I’ll get right down to business. You mentioned that you and I had common interests. Why don’t you tell me exactly what they might be?
SUN: To kill Benjamin Linus.

Compass LOCKE: What is this?
RICHARD: It’s a compass.
LOCKE: What does it do?
RICHARD: It points north, John. Look, I wish I had time to be more sensitive about this because it’s a lot to swallow, but you need to know it in order to do what you gotta do. So I’m just gonna say it, okay?  The only way to save the Island, John, is to get your people back here–the ones who left.
LOCKE: Jack, Kate. The chopper was headed for the boat. The boat–
RICHARD: No, they’re fine, John, and they’re already home, so you have to convince them to come back.
LOCKE: How am I supposed to do that?
RICHARD: You’re gonna have to die, John.

Memorable Quotes from There’s No Place Like Home, Part 1

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008

oceanic.jpg

MS. DECKER: We’re coming in for a landing. It’s a military facility just west of Honolulu. It’s completely private. Your–your families are already here. Now there’s a lot of press that wanna speak to you, but as far as Oceanic is concerned, you don’t have to speak to any reporters.
JACK: We’ll talk to ‘em.
MS. DECKER: Is that all right with all of you?
JACK: It’s fine. We all agreed. We just–we just wanna get it over with.
MS. DECKER: Okay. Um, they’re referring to you as the “Oceanic Six”. That’s not the best branding as far as we’re concerned, but it’s catchy. We’ll see you on the ground.
(Plane descending)
JACK: We all know the story. If we get any questions that we don’t wanna answer, or that we can’t answer, let’s just keep our mouths shut. It’s okay. They’ll–they’ll think that we’re in shock.
SUN: We are in shock, Jack.
JACK: Well… then this should be easy.

Memorable Quotes from Cabin Fever

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

NURSE: Okay, sweetheart. All right, there you go. Wrap you up nice and warm. We’ll just take you over here now. Margaret, would you put him in for me, please?
EMILY: My baby.
NURSE: It’s a boy, honey. He’s okay for now. He’s just real early.
EMILY: Can I hold him?
NURSE: I’m really sorry, sweetheart. He’s just too little. We have to take him away now.
EMILY: But… name–name him John. Please! His name is John!

KEAMY: Linus knew who I was. He knew my name. He knew everything about me.
GAULT: No, I’m not the one who gave you up.
KEAMY: Then who did?

KEAMY: Do you know who I am?
MICHAEL: What?
(jabs Michael in the stomach)
KEAMY: My name. Do you know my name?
MICHAEL: Keamy. Martin Keamy.
KEAMY: Did you give it to him?
MICHAEL: Who?
KEAMY: Benjamin Linus–did you give him my name?
MICHAEL: Yeah.
GAULT: Martin, we need him. He’s the only one who can fix the engines.
KEAMY: And what makes you so sure about that?
GAULT: Because he’s the one who broke them.

jack_kate_arron.jpgJACK: I wonder if I’ve been changed in the night. Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? But if I’m not the same, the next question is, ‘Who in the world am I?’ Aha, that’s the great puzzle.’
KATE: You’re a natural.
JACK: Yeah?
KATE: Yeah.
JACK: My old man used to read me that story.
KATE: Really?
JACK: What?
KATE: It’s just… it’s just sweet hearing you say nice things about your dad.
JACK: I don’t say nice things about my dad? Well, he was a good storyteller. I’ll give him that. Hey. You okay?
KATE: Yeah. Just, I… I love seeing you with him. I’m so glad you changed your mind.
JACK: I’m so glad that you’re here.
KATE: Me, too.

Miles Digging Lost

MILES: Who’s Danielle and Karl?
CLAIRE: You mean Rousseau? The French woman?….Oh, my God.
MILES: Is this your French woman?
SAWYER: Karl.
SAWYER: How’d you know they were down there? Your buddies do this?
MILES: They’re not my buddies, man. I didn’t sign up for this.
CLAIRE: Can we just–can we just get out of here, please? Can we just go?
SAWYER: Yeah, yeah, of course. But don’t worry. Once we get back to the beach, everything’s gonna be fine. All right? Come on. Let’s go.

Memorable Quotes from The Shape of Things To Come

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

HURLEY: We’re all gonna die.
SAWYER: Calm down, Chicken Little. The sky ain’t falling just yet.
HURLEY: This is exactly what he wants— to fight amongst ourselves. You’re making a big mistake, dude.
LOCKE: It’s his to make, Hugo. Let’s get on with it.
SAWYER: Right. …I’m attackin’ Siberia.
(They’re playing Risk)
SAWYER: Sorry.
HURLEY: Can’t believe you’re just giving him Australia. Australia’s the key to the whole game.
SAWYER: Says you.

SAWYER: Let me guess. “14-J” ain’t the code for the pizza boy.
BEN: It’s an early warning system.
LOCKE: Warning for what?
BEN: Somebody tripped the panic switch at our security fence. That means one of my people’s been captured. How long did you guys debate amongst yourselves whether or not to ask me why the phone rang?
LOCKE: Five minutes.
BEN: Well, so much for our head start.
SAWYER: Hold up. If we’re hunkerin’ down, I gotta grab Frenchie and the kids.
BEN: Don’t bother. They’re safe. I sent Rousseau, Alex and Karl away yesterday.
SAWYER: Away where? Whatever. Claire’s still sleepin’. I’ll grab her.
BEN: There’s no time.
SAWYER: I’ll make time.
BEN: (To Locke) It’s very important that you survive what’s about to happen here, John. So I need you to stay close to me.
LOCKE: And why would I do that?
BEN: Because the people that are coming won’t risk hurting me. You want to live? I’m your best chance.

LOCKE: Right now I need you to tell me what’s going on.
BEN: I think the technical term is “shock and awe”. They’re trying to frighten me into surrendering.
LOCKE: Well, why did they stop shooting?
HURLEY: Was that Claire’s house? Claire was there.
LOCKE: Hugo, get the baby away from the window. Put him in the back room.
LOCKE: You said I need to survive this. Why?
BEN: Because there’s only one person that can help us now, and that’s Jacob, and we have to go to him together.
LOCKE: What makes you think I can find him? I–I don’t even know where the cabin is.
BEN: I know, but Hurley does.

About Watching Lost

Every weekday, I will bring you news, theories, spoilers, recaps, and general discussions about the show, the characters, and the actors. We're all in this together, so please use the comment sections to keep discussions alive. Remember, live together, die alone. Enjoy!
