From Ausiello’s ATV Spoiler:
Remember Desmond’s all-knowing and slightly creepy friend from two seasons ago? The one played by the sublime Fionnula Flannigan? Well, according to my Lost moles, she is coming back this season, and we will learn that she has a very surprising connection. To another character. A major character. And the connection? It’s a big one. That’s all I’m saying.
I hardly remember Miss Hawking. She appeared in only one episode in Season 2. And if you’re like me, this literature will probably help you remember what it was that transpired between her and Desmond.

Spoiler TV has a very detailed account of what’s to happen in Lost’s Fifth Season. If you’d like to check it out, follow this link. If you don’t wanna be spoiled though, just watch this deleted scene from Season 4 (uploaded by CarLost):
A scene from last Satuday’s shoot on Lost was uploaded on online. The video doesn’t really spoil anything much. Except it shows the technical aspects the amazing crew does to create the setting. Here is where some Losties are apparently caught in the middle of the storm.
The actual spoilers to what went on in this particular shoot and which characters were present, is on this Hawaii Blog.
As soon as Lost Season 4 ended, one of the first updates we’ve come to learn was that Claire’s presence was going to be missed in the fifth season,as the character was supposed to come back only for the sixth season. But that’s about to change, based on this spoiler alert from E!.
The spoiler also dishes on what we will learn during the season premiere of Lost Season 5…
TV Guide talks to Michael Emerson and Emilie De Ravin regarding Lost’s Season 5 in these videos.
It kinda feels creepy talking to Michael Emerson when you know he’s the evil genius Ben. It feels like he’s got you wrapped on his fingers.
And Emilie De Ravin is a tiny woman!
The phrase, “That can’t be possible!” is alien to Lost and it has been proven in many instances. Just like today, when I read the news from E! about Michelle Rodriguez coming back to the show.
Yep, she’s baaack! At least for one episode only. But she is definitely coming back.
Based on the report, it appears she will guest star in a flashback episode, scheduled to air as the second one for Lost’s Season 5. Or perhaps she will appear as a hallucination? That isn’t confirmed but the second episode is looking a lot like a Hurley-centric; which will probably answer questions from that episode with Hurley at the police station, huh?
As per E!
• Rodriguez is back for one episode, most likely this season’s second. As a result, the risk to Hawaii’s roadways is said to be minimal.
• Given that Ana Lucia’s bullet-riddled body is probably entering the final stage of decomposition, conventional Lost wisdom (if there is such a thing) points to her appearing in someone’s flashback or via hallucination. The fact that Cheech Marin is also on the guest list for eppy 2 suggests that it’s most likely a Hurley-centric outing. And after his encounter with Charlie’s ghost last season, it’s certainly feasible that Hurley would have an imaginary run-in with Ana Lucia. There’s also this theory, put forth by EW’s own Doc Jensen: “Maybe Ana Lucia busted L.A.-based Ghost Hustler Miles during her pre-crash LAPD days, and now the freighter folkster is seeing visions of the late Tailie on the Island!”
• Rodriguez’s return follows last season’s “resurrection” of fellow doomed Tailie Cynthia Watros (Libby), who appeared in a vision to Michael. Could Mr. Eko be next, thus completing, as Jensen jests, the “Busted Tailie Story Line Redemption Tour”?
The Hawaii Blog has a few sightings and spoilers for Lost Season 5, as the cast and crew returned to Hawaii (Makiki, in particular) for the new season last week. The sighting involved a scene with Hurley and Sayid. It had someone pointing a gun, some struggling, with some shots fired! Per the witness account:
