Lost Episode Preview: Eggtown

by LiRa

Kate.jpgLost’s 4th episode of the season is supposedly centered on Kate and may also involve her relationship with Sawyer, as show in the teaser clips. It seems these two are getting it on. Again!

Episode 4.02
Episode Title: Eggtown
Synopsis: Kate’s need to get information out of the hostage may jeopardize her standing with Locke — as well as with Sawyer.

Here’s a longer clip:

And more spoilers after the jump…

This other video shows Ben being held hostage by Locke, which kinda reminds me of how it was between them in the second season, doesn’t it? As Ben actually said — “Here we are, just like old times. Except I’m locked in a different room.”

Locke is holding Ben prisoner in the basement of one of the houses of the Barracks. Ben refuses to tell who his mole on the freighter is or why these people are looking for the island. Kate and Claire share a house and chat about babies. Locke won’t tell Kate where Miles in imprisoned, but she then tricks Hurley into revealing it is the boathouse. When she talks to Miles he says he will only answer her questions if she can get him a meeting with Ben. On Kate’s request, Sawyer lures Locke away. Kate brings the two prisoners together and Ben affirms that he knows who Miles is, and why he is there. Miles then asks for 3.2 million dollars in return for telling “everyone” that Ben is already dead. He says he knows who Ben really is, and promises to take care of his partner Charlotte who is also aware of Ben’s whereabouts. Ben agrees and gives him a week. Miles then answers Kate’s questions: yes, the freighters know about her criminal record. When Locke finally returns, he bans Kate from his team. Kate has one more night of sex with Sawyer but they end it with a serious row about her possibly being pregnant. Sawyer doesn’t take the whole baby thing well. Although she denies it, they break up.

Meanwhile: the helicopter hasn’t arrived at the freighter and the islanders and Regina get worried.

FF Jack and Kate have some extremely touching moments but it doesn’t end well. Kate is arrested for the murder of her stepfather. When she steps out of a Town Car in front of the courthouse, there are dozens of camera/news reporters snapping pictures and trying to get an interview. One person even yels “MURDERER” at her. are also armed L.A. police and Sheriff’s uniforms about. Inside, she is denied bail. Her lawyer says he wants to sway the jury by bringing Kate’s son in the courtroom. Kate doesn’t want that. Instead, the lawyer then brings Jack to the witness stand. Jack lies to the jury and tells that Kate was a heroine, that she saved the Oceanic Six on her own. The prosecutor asks him if he loves Kate, he says he doesn’t anymore. Afterwards, the lawyer brings in Kate’s mom, who apparently is dying of cancer and is feeling remorse for what has happened between them in the past. Kate’s mom refuses to take the witness stand a Kate makes a deal for ten years probation. When she leaves the court she’s met by a clean-shaven, leather-jacket wearing Jack, who steps away from an older, brown pickup truck. There’s some awkwardness, but there are also some smiles. Kate shows romantic interest in future Jack, but it turns out there’s another special person in her life already. Someone who was on the plane, but didn’t have a ticket. Jack doesn’t want to come with her, because of her son. Eventually, Jack helps Kate get into a yellow taxi cab, and watches as it drives away. Kate goes home and there cuddles a 3 or 4 year-old Aaron, whom she is raising.| DarkUFO
