Lost: Via Domus Video Game Out Feb 26
Are you both a game addict and a Lostie? Then I bet you’re already anticipating the release of the very first Lost video game for the PC, the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. Previously announced and unveiled at the Comic Con last 2007, the video game is set for release on February 26th.
The gameplay is seen from the eyes of Elliot, a crash survivor and he is the character controlled by the player. Elliot is a photojournalist who develops amnesia as a result of the crash and anything he can remember will serve as flashbacks, a very important element to the Lost series.
The game will be treated as something similar to Resident Evil, with quests, puzzles and that element of surprise and mystery. Some of the more familiar characters will also be in it, like Jack, Kate, Sayid Sawyer, Locke and Hurley (and they have provided voice to their characters, too!).
The game will also feature elements relating to the TV series like the black smoke and The Others and the story will be divided into seven parts. Although patterned from the TV series, UbiSoft, the game developer has promised that it will be a different experience, with more missions and story lines previously not seen or heard from the show.
Lost: Via Domus has been in development for quite some time now. And in an interview last year, Lost’s Damon Lindelof has been very enthusiastic about its release saying that the video game is “RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME!”
MTV Multiplayer was able to test the game early last week, and you can read the review here.
