The Invisible Man

by Holli

Are you kidding me?? I’m not sure I know what to think of last night’s episode, “The Man Behind the Curtain.” And if you haven’t watched it, stop reading!

Just for starters:
1. There has to be a really good explanantion for the whole Jacob being invisible for me not to be truly disappointed.
2. Is Locke dead?? That was a GREAT ending, by the way, but I don’t want Locke dead!!!
3. Jacob said, “Help me.” Does he want Locke to save him from Ben?? What does he need help with??

I’ll have much more later. I just need a little bit of time to digest this episode.

WOW!!! That’s all i have to say about last night’s episode. Go to that link and watch the clip. It’s a slowed-down view of Jacob in the cabin. He is a real person, in a sense, and VERY creepy.

I don’t think Locke’s dead. I think it would be a HUGE mistake on the writers’ part to kill him off. He’s too important to everything. I think he will be healed by the island, Jacob, or the smoke monster. At least i hope so…

I think Jacob might be locked in a sort of time/space rift or something. Maybe the electromagnetic thingy on the island has him trapped, maybe when the failsafe went off? Or possibly Ben is responsible for it.

All I know is that that episode definitely set up the finale, and gave us a whole new bag of questions for the future season. Way to go Lost!!!

I agree - Locke cannot die!

    Few things about that:
Will that even be covered in next weeks episode? They may leave that until Season 4 Ep. 1.
I hope Rousseau/Smokey/Jacob saves Locke. Actually, I don’t care WHO saves him; somebody just save Locke!
The island has saved Locke before, so I’m hoping it steps in and saves him again.

    Jacob:
I’ve been reading a few other lost sites - some people think Jacob (thru screen shots and watching it over) is Locke with hair. Some people think it’s Tom. Some people think he has a money on his shoulder, or a cat (I don’t believe that, I think he has SHADOWS on his shoulder).
It’s funny how Ben heard Jacob but Locke couldn’t (was he in fact making it all up?) and then Locke heard Jacob’s “help me” and Ben didn’t (perhaps surprising himself that someone/thing was actually there?).
    Just ramblings…
Seriously at first I thought Jacob was Locke’s dad - but I don’t want to start any rumors - but looking at screen shots I don’t think it is.
