Writers give some scoop

Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis helped write tonight’s episode, and while talking about their episode, they gave a little bit og information about what we can expect from the remainder of the season. According to TV Squad:

The writers teased that “the question on everyone’s mind” concerning Locke would be resolved in an upcoming episode, and that new plotlines would open up for the mysterious character. In addition to the Locke episode, Season Three will include flashbacks for Claire, Sayid, Paulo, and Nikki.

Cuse and Lindelof said that Paulo and Nikki would become important to us fans, so I’m guessing their flashbacks will give us some insight into why it was so crucial for them to be introduced this season.
